Free professional beta — for evaluation only. ARKIN is in free, invite-only beta and still under review. Use simulated or de-identified cases only — please don't enter real patient-identifiable data, and don't rely on it for live patient care yet.
For Professionals — B2P

A companion that supports you —
and keeps you in control.

A companion and a gated, verified peer community in their own right — not a bolt-on to a practice tool. It supports your professional practice and admin; it never makes a clinical decision. It informs; you decide. A locked door: only verified UK registrant professionals and healthcare students get in.

Inside the environment

Everything in one professional workspace.

Your companion travels with you across the whole environment, and these are the tools it works alongside — built to take the weight off a shift and build with you as you work.

AI Companion

Your own companion across the whole workspace. It puts cited guidance in front of you to weigh for yourself — it informs, you decide. Patient-identifiable details are held back by design.

Evidence lookup

Ask a clinical question and get a grounded answer with its sources cited, so you can open and check them yourself — the sources in hand, the judgement yours.

Medicines reference

Look up published BNF/dm+d reference information — interactions, cautions and monitoring — with the source shown, for you to read and apply. Reference only: it informs, you decide, and it never makes a recommendation.

Letters & referrals

Draft UK referral letters, discharge summaries and SBAR handovers from your own notes in minutes — de-identified, with you to edit and sign.

Statements

An incident on shift? Get your account down while it's fresh, and ARKIN's legal agent drafts a factual professional statement for you to review and sign.

Care Plans

Turn your de-identified assessment into a person-centred care plan draft informed by CQC standards and the Mental Capacity Act — you review, complete and own it.

Shift Report

Run your shift and build a structured clinical-lead handover as you go — categorised, prioritised, and exported to hand on.

Patient information

Clear, plain-English patient leaflets — a condition, a medicine, a procedure — at a reading level you choose, for you to check before sharing.

MDT & Team

Private, invite-only multidisciplinary case discussions with a structured SBAR handover — de-identified, professional to professional.

CPD, Appraisal & Revalidation

Your development builds as you work, and your whole appraisal pack — reflections, feedback, significant events, quality improvement — assembles into an export organised around your regulator's revalidation framework — designed to help you stay on top of revalidation, without the last-minute scramble.

Renewals & admin

Registration, indemnity, DBS, mandatory training and appraisal dates tracked, with reminders that flow into your calendar.

Calendar

A native calendar anchored to your CPD and revalidation, with reminders and a feed you can subscribe to.

The Commons

A forum for verified peers — rooms for discussion, research and practice. Your companion can take part too: it monitors discussions and drafts contributions, but only ever posts what you authorise.

Dictation & write-up

Turn spoken notes into structured write-ups and take the admin weight off — more time with people, less time at a keyboard.

Coding & de-identification toolkit · Max

For doctors, scientists and researchers: paste clinical text and it is designed to strip identifiers in-region using an enterprise AWS service (Amazon Comprehend Medical), with ICD-10 and medication-code suggestions for you to confirm. A coding and de-identification aid — automated, so you still check it; it informs, you decide. Opens only once its clinical governance is signed off.

Your data, your control

Export your own custom companion layer whenever you want. It's designed so your data stays in the UK, and every action is recorded in a hash-chained ledger designed to be tamper-evident and free of patient-identifiable data.

Where we draw the line

Plain about what it does — and what it won't.

ARKIN sits deliberately on the safe side of the line. It informs, never decides — the professional is always in control. No grey areas.

What it does

  • Informs — you decide. Grounded, cited information to support your judgement; the clinical decision is always yours.
  • Patient data held back by design. The everyday tools are designed to be free of patient-identifiable data — you work de-identified, and drafts leave placeholders for any identifier.
  • The clinical lane is gated & de-identified. Where it works with clinical text it uses an enterprise AWS service (Amazon Comprehend Medical) designed to strip identifiers in-region, and opens only to verified clinical members. Automated de-identification carries residual risk, so you still check; and anything that would touch patient-identifiable data stays gated until its governance is signed off.
  • UK, end to end. It's designed so all data and processing stay in the UK (AWS London), with a hash-chained audit ledger designed to be tamper-evident and free of patient-identifiable data.
  • Verified access only. A locked door — UK registrants and healthcare students, built around what your regulator asks of you.

What it won't do

  • It won't make the clinical decision for you.
  • It won't diagnose, prescribe, or replace your professional judgement.
  • It won't process patient-identifiable data in the everyday tools.
  • It won't act without your say-so — nothing is sent, posted or shared unless you authorise it.
  • It won't pretend to be your regulator, union or indemnity — for serious matters it points you to them.
