The agent network

Twelve named agents.
One clear remit each.

ARKIN is not a single chatbot. It is a coordinated team of twelve specialist agents, each with one well-scoped job, working under one shared rulebook. ARKIN Core sits in the middle as the orchestrator — it never holds an agent's expertise itself, it routes each task to the right specialist, carries the result back, and keeps a full audit trail. Anything sensitive stops and waits for a human to approve it. Clinical-facing work is designed to defer to a registered practitioner.

This is the architecture behind ARKIN. The professional companion is live in closed beta today; the full practice (B2B) system these agents power is still in development.

ARKIN Core

The orchestrator and router. It receives every request, decides which specialist owns it, passes work between agents under shared rules, and records each step. It holds no domain logic of its own — its job is coordination, audit and order.

Janus

The gatekeeper. Janus controls who and what gets in and out — access, intake and egress, request triage and boundary enforcement. It's designed so nothing reaches the rest of the network without passing through it first.

Eve

Compliance and data protection, applied equally across practices and professionals. Eve works with UK GDPR, the DPA 2018, ICO guidance and the DSPT, and routes erasure and subject-access requests. Like every agent, she drafts and flags for a person to decide — she's the reason compliance comes first in how the platform is built.

Arthur

The conscience. Arthur cross-checks every marketing and clinical claim for truth and UK-regulatory safety before it is ever published. A claim that cannot be sourced or that fails the check is blocked and logged for a person to review.

Themis

Counsel. Themis handles legal interpretation, contracts and the reading of UK regulation. It drafts reasoned legal analysis for human review — it never issues settled legal advice or acts on its own.

Cassia

HR and people. Cassia manages recruitment, contracts and onboarding with UK employment-law awareness — the kind of standalone HR and compliance tooling practices juggle today, brought in-house and AI-native.

Midas

Finance and treasury. Midas models cashflow, runway, pricing and costs. We believe in fair usage — the numbers are always shown with their workings.

Hermes

The messenger. Hermes drafts outbound, campaign and website copy — advertising and marketing in one place. Every draft it produces still passes Arthur's truth-check before anything goes live.

Aura

Outreach. Aura handles first contact — patient and lead engagement, enquiry handling and nurture — designed so enquiries aren't dropped and replies stay consistent and on-record.

Logos

Knowledge. Logos curates the knowledge base and retrieves grounded reference material, so every other agent answers from a single, sourced body of truth rather than guessing.

Hestia

Stewardship. Hestia looks after the housekeeping — internal operations, resource care and continuity — the quiet work that keeps everything running between tasks.

Zenith

Infrastructure. Zenith watches systems health, deployment posture and technical resilience, working to keep the platform up, current and safe to build on.

Iris

Vision. Iris handles long-range strategy — foresight, scenario framing and direction-setting — keeping the day-to-day work pointed at where the system is going next.

How it all links together

No agent works alone. Here's how a request is designed to move through the network — triaged, routed, drafted, checked and recorded — with a person in control of anything that carries weight. (The practice flow below illustrates the design; the practice system is still in development.)

A practice wants to advertise a new clinic. The request arrives and Janus checks it is allowed in and who it belongs to.
ARKIN Core routes it to Hermes, who drafts the advert copy.
Arthur reads the draft and cross-checks every claim for truth and UK-regulatory safety. One line over-promises — Arthur blocks it and logs why, so it cannot quietly go out.
Eve confirms nothing breaches UK GDPR or ICO guidance, and Themis sanity-checks the wording against advertising rules.
The corrected advert lands in the approval queue. Nothing is published until a real person presses approve — the agents propose, the human decides.
Every step above is written to a hash-chained ledger designed to be tamper-evident, in the practice's own UK instance. If anyone ever asks who approved this, and on what basis, the answer is already on record.
