ARKIN is a technology provider and cannot access the regulators' registers — they don't grant that to tech companies. So registration is self-attested: by joining and entering, you declare that your registration is accurate and current. Misrepresenting it is a breach of your own professional code, so accountability sits where it belongs — with you, the registrant.
No. Your companion informs; it never decides. It aims to surface options and cited guidance, and always defers to you as the registered practitioner. It will not give a definitive diagnosis or a treatment instruction that needs in-person assessment.
No. The beta is a review and evaluation environment that hasn't yet completed clinical-governance sign-off. Please use simulated or fully de-identified cases only, and don't rely on ARKIN for decisions about real patients. The everyday tools are built to be free of patient-identifiable data by design.
The standard lanes are designed to be free of patient-identifiable data — if patient details appear, they're held back. The Max-tier toolkit goes further: clinical text is designed to be de-identified in-region (UK) by an enterprise AWS service (Amazon Comprehend Medical) before processing, and to fail closed if it can't. Automated de-identification can't be guaranteed to catch every identifier, so you stay responsible for checking before you rely on it.
In the UK — AWS eu-west-2 only. It's designed so personal data stays in the UK. Secrets are held in AWS Secrets Manager, and agent actions are written to a hash-chained audit ledger designed to be tamper-evident.
A tier aimed at doctors, scientists and professional researchers. Alongside the standard companion it adds a clinical coding and de-identification toolkit — in-region de-identification and ICD-10 / medication coding suggestions for you to confirm. It only switches on once the relevant clinical governance is in place.
Only with your authorisation. Your companion can monitor discussions and draft a contribution, but it never posts on its own — you review, edit if you like, and authorise before anything appears.

The aim is to bring the back-office sprawl — HR and compliance tooling, finance, advertising and legal drafting — into one system where each area is owned by a named agent and orchestrated by ARKIN Core, on the same human-in-the-loop foundation as our professional product. We'll describe each part as it's actually built and reviewed.
